Tylar B. Everhart

Tylar was born on May 23, 1994, in Springfield, the son of Kevin D. Everhart and Laura Lanham Everhart.

He graduated from Tri City High School and was attending Purdue University. Tylar started working at Sam’s Club and worked his way up to management. He was an avid St. Louis Caridnals fan, was a very competitive online gamer, and loved fishing with his father. Tylar was an amazing, kind, loving, hardworking, considerate young man. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tylar was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Harold W. Lanham and John D. Everhart, Jr., and grandmother, Judith K. Whitson.

He is survived by his father, Kevin D. Everhart of Springfield; mother, Laura L. Everhart of Springfield; brother, Justin (Elise) Everhart of Sherman; girlfriend, Kathryn Baumgartner of Addison; grandmother, Juanita Lanham; aunts, Kim Park and Kimbrali Harrell; niece and nephews, Ayden, Ethan, Kayli, and Nathan Everhart; and several cousins.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield.

Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, with David Plake officiating.

Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
