Veronica "Vicki" Hayes

Veronica “Vicki” Hayes, 49, of Springfield died at 8:56 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006 at St. John's Hospital. Vicki was born May 29, 1956 in Springfield the daughter of Samuel and Bonnie Marconi Falzone. She married Russ Hayes on July 22, 1978 in Springfield. Mrs. Hayes was the Assistant to the Director of the Vehicle Services Department at the Secretary of State’s office for 7 years. She was previously employed by Weight Watchers and CDS. Vicki was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and a 1974 graduate of Lanphier High School. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Brandi Jo Hayes on June 16, 2004. She is survived by her husband: Russ Hayes of Springfield; parents: Sam and Bonnie Falzone of Springfield; son: Chad Hayes of Springfield and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Fr. Steve Janoski officiant. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 200 S. Hanley, Ste. 620, St. Louis, MO 63105.
