Virginia Ann Aut

Virginia Ann Aut, 73, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Virginia was born on January 7, 1942, in Centralia, IL, the daughter of the late Dean and Virginia Martin. Virginia married Larry Aut in 1962, in Shawneetown, IL, he preceded her in death in 2008. She worked as an administrative assistant for SIU School of Medicine for many years until she retired. Virginia was an active member of 1st Christian Church in Springfield, she was a talented clarinet player and pianist, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and traveling with her family.

Virginia is survived by her 3 children: Roland Dean “R.D." (Sharon) Aut of Phoenix, AZ, David (Lisa) Aut of Cetaula, GA, and Chris Aut of Springfield, 6 grandchildren, and 1 brother Tom Martin of Centralia, IL.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home 505 E Allen St. Springfield, IL 62703, where the family will receive guests on Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 3-5 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded.
