Wade Boring, 54, of Springfield, passed away at 11:21 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Wade was born February 5, 1958 in Springfield, the son of Bobby and Christine Riedesel Boring. He married Suzanne Fernandes on February 19, 2012 in Springfield. Wade was employed as a geologist for the Illinois EPA for 28 years. He enjoyed playing guitar, music, collecting rocks, roasting coffee, and renaissance reenactments. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Boring of Springfield; son, Chance (wife, Keesha) Stacy; step-children, Nicholas Bettis and Darian Fernandes, both of Springfield; father, Bobby Boring of Springfield; grandson, Jackson Stacy; sister, Jerie (husband, Michael) Schussele of Springfield; and several cousins. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 5:00 7:00 p.m., followed by a short memorial service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
