Wanda Jean Jack, 78, of Auburn, died at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010 at Auburn Nursing and Rehab in Auburn. Wanda was born August 5, 1931 in Springfield the daughter of Earl Willard and Lucy Edith Beard Moore. Wanda worked as a housekeeper at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. She previously worked as a caretaker and a waitress at Howard Johnson's. She liked to make people laugh and enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents; her ex-husband, Melvin Pratt, Sr.; three sons, Bobby and Brian Locker and Jimmy David Pratt; and a daughter, Carolyn Sue Pratt. She is survived by five sons, Gary (wife, Debbie) Pratt of FL, Terry (wife, Xishu) Pratt of MO, Johnny (wife, Marge) Locker of MO, Greg (wife, Sally) Locker of Mesa, AZ and Randy (wife, Bonnie) Locker of CO; one daughter, Connie Skelton of Auburn; several grandchildren including Tiffany Loggins of Auburn; a sister, Delores Sisti of Springfield; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A funeral ceremony will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Scott Brindley officiating. Burial will follow in Farmingdale Cemetery.
