William Arthur "Bill" Kincaid

Bill was born on April 7, 1957, in Urbana, the son of Wilbur and Harriett (Hatter) Kincaid. He married Jana S. Janssen on May 19, 1990, in Petersburg.

Bill graduated from Lincoln High School and was an electrician for IBW Local #193 until his retirement in 2014. He attended the Indy 500 races since 1986 and enjoyed vacationing at Hilton Head. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and loved St. Patrick’s Day.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael Kincaid.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jana of Glenarm; children, Daniel (Jessica) Kincaid of Auburn, Sarah Kincaid of Chatham, and Matthew Kincaid of Springfield; grandson, Samuel Arthur Kincaid; and siblings, Carol Kincaid of Lincoln, Chuck Kincaid of Lawrence, KS, Jim Kincaid of Florida, and Kate Hernandez of Lincoln.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Butler Funeral Home – Chatham, 8855 State Rte. 4, Chatham. Illinois COVID-19 guidance will be followed, requiring face coverings.

Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Butler Funeral Home – Chatham, with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Illinois COVID-19 guidance will be followed, requiring face coverings.

Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
