William was born on November 29, 1999, in Springfield, the son of Billy Ray Rivers, Sr. and Selina Rae Gary.
William enjoyed basketball, listening to and writing music, playing video games, camping, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father; three uncles; and grandparents.
He is survived by his stepmother, Eva Rivers of Springfield; three brothers; three aunts; and cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Private family Graveside Ceremony will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
The family is being served by Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield.
