

He was born on March 21, 1924 in Logan, Il, the son of the late Willie and Alta (Summers) Tadlock. He married Gladys Rone in 1948 and she preceded him in death in 1972, He later married Bernice Hershey and she also preceded him in death.
Mr. Tadlock was a welder with Allis Chalmers, retiring in 1973. He served in the U.S. Army during the WWII era. Mutt was a loving father and husband. He was always willing to assist others and, during their illnesses, served as primary caregiver for both Gladys and Bernice.. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. He enjoyed visiting and speaking with family and friends. Mutt ws truly loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Alan Tadlock of Chatham, IL, 2 step-sons, Ray Angeli of Tucson, AZ, and Rod Angeli of Sherman, IL, 3 step-daughters, Roxanne (husband David) Miller of Williamsville, IL, Rhonda (husband Rodney) Flagg of Sherman, IL, and Renee (husband Mike) Sloan of Williamsville, IL. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Besides his parents and his wives, Bernice and Gladys, he was preceded in death by3 brothers, Joe, Herman, and Bobby Tadlock, 3 sisters, Lucille Bandy, Opal June Upchurch, and Joyce McGuire.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield where visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 from 10 am until time of the funeral service at 11 am, with Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.
