

Alana F. Malufau the 3rd of 3 children was born March 28, 2000 in Faagalu, American Samoa at Lyndon B Johnson Medical Center. At 5:35am on August 27, 2015 Alana passed peacefully into eternal life surrounded by her mother and father at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA.
Alana was educated in Fairfax County Public Schools where she attended Woodlawn Elementary from Kindergarten thru 6th grade. She went on to attend Walt Whitman Middle School for grades 7 thru 8. A freshman who was to be entering her sophomore year at Mt. Vernon High School is where Alana’s educational path concluded. Alana partook in honor classes during her freshmen year in which she accomplished straight A’s and was recognized as an honor roll student. Alana was also selected and participated in the Early Identification Program which was sponsored by George Mason University where she had received tutoring for college courses.
Alana started off her early years entering Tae Kwando, which she enjoyed doing for over 7 years of her life. Alana also played volleyball for Mt Vernon High School, and was just starting as a Junior Varsity Cheerleader for Mt. Vernon High School for the upcoming school year. Along with her extracurricular sports, Alana also had many hobbies and interest that sparked her attention as well. Alana had such a beautiful sense of humor and would love to make comedic clips that reflected her exquisite personality. Alana also love to sing, enjoyed numerous arts and crafts, baking, writing, and collecting sea shells when she would visit the Jersey Shore.
Alana leaves to cherish her memory devoted and loving parents Faafiti & Toni Malufau; 2 brothers Jason and Christopher Malufau; 2 nephews Braylon and Keiland Malufau; along with a host of family and friends.
