Barbara taught Advanced Placement English at the Albert Einstein High School in the Montgomery County School System for many years, leaving the lasting impression on her students that she was tough but always ready to help with a letter of recommendation or welcome them back for a visit after they graduated.
Barbara was a member of Word of Life International Church, 5225 Backlick Rd, Springfield, VA, where a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 6-8 pm. Interment at the Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Barbara’s memory to a charity of choice.
