“Bettie Ann Wicklund, age 59, of Annandale, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Bettie was born December 28, 1961 at DeWitt Army hospital Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Beloved wife of 30 years to Douglas Wicklund and loving mother of sons Jeremiah and James. Bettie is also survived by her mother Bettie B. Hayhurst and her
mother-in-law Doralyn Wicklund as well as her 3 brothers Barry, Bob and Richard Hayhurst. Bettie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Annandale and Northern Virginia Community College with an associate’s degree. She started her working career at Alexandria hospital then went on to work for Fairfax Inova Hospital for 35 years as a medical records technician. Bettie enjoyed reading, Art’s & Craft’s and raising her two children.”
