Brian Craig Nowlin, 52, of Washington, DC, passed away on July 30, 2015 after a six year courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 13, 1963, in Joplin, Missouri, and was the son of the late Gary D. Nowlin and Helen Tarrant Nowlin of Joplin, Missouri.
He is survived by his brother Kent Nowlin, wife Brooke and their children Jonah, Josiah, Joel, Jadon, Jaala, Japheth and Judah; and sister Tara Nowlin Thomas, husband Mike and their children Ethan, Karly and Macy.
A private family service will be held in Carl Junction, Missouri. Interment will be private. A memorial service for friends will be held at Foundry United Methodist Church, Washington, DC on August 30, 2015 at 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
