Our hearts are with Mary Ellen, Joe, MaryAnn & all family and friends.
Chris was very special to both of us and we will always hold her in our memory.

I remember the shock I felt the day that my niece Chris Ann left us. She was still young yet. I remember at one of her cousins wedding that I was sitting near her and that we had a very nice conversation. I always will remember her about that and holidays with her and her family. She was one of my favorite nieces and will surely be missed. 

It was shocking to hear of Chris’s passing, and there is little in this world to compensate for her loss, except to know she is in no pain and at peace. She is with God and family, and has left us with many touching memories.  
Chris, as a cousin was someone with whom I shared the happiest times, and some of the most difficult. She was a partner in crime growing up and in learning to navigate this life, whether it was hanging out in the pits up the block, earning money at the ice cream plant to drive go-carts all afternoon, or sharing our experiences of what being a teenager was in VA vs MD.  
We offer our condolences, for you and your family. I hope we can find comfort in those warm memories to face the days ahead, to stave off tears. God bless you and your family.

It truly has been some sad days since Chris Ann passed, as the Heavens rejoiced when God called her home.  Chris Ann was so much more than a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Cousin; she was an Inspiration and Protector.  May the memories she’s given us be a Blessing, Comfort, and Encouragement to us all.  Love you always my Dear Cousin.


I Loved Chris Ann very much! She was very kind and sweet and very friendly too! A fond memory of her was when I was very sad she opened her Jewlery box and showed me a Beagle Pendant. She love her husband, Joe and her daughter, Mary Ann very much. Also her family and relatives and her beautiful dog Duke!

Chris Ann, God has called you to his side, but I know your Dad and my Aunt Ellen, your Grandma, were waiting with open arms to take you without any more pain to see him. It’s hard for everyone you left behind, but knowing you are at peace without suffering eases the pain for everyone. You will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. Rest In peace my dear cousin and please watch over your Mom for me.

I’m so glad I got to spend time with Chris, her Mom, brother, sister-in-law and nephew a couple weeks ago.  I’ve adopted their family as my own as mine has been lost. God bless their strength and unity through thick and thin. I admire that. Life can be messy. Live life with a messy heart. That’s true love.
