Dina Irene Relan Johnson

Dina Irene Relan Johnson, 41, lost her battle with cancer on May 23, 2014. Dina was born in Opelika, Alabama on January 4, 1973 to Martha (Marty) and Craig Relan. She is survived by her husband Brian Johnson, her brothers Scott Relan (Kimberly) and Adam (Abbey), and her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Dina graduated from Chantilly High School in Chantilly, Virginia and went on to receive a degree in Accounting from James Madison University.

Dina dedicated much of her career to FirstService Residential where she was a Vice President of Accounting and Business Operations. She brought much joy to those around her through her love of cooking and friendship. Dina was an animal lover surrounded by pets through most of her life, enjoyed art and taking trips with family and friends. She was an avid “Parrothead” and spent many a summer dancing through a good Jimmy Buffet concert.

Dina’s life will be celebrated on Friday, June 6th at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, Dina requested that donations are made to Life with Cancer (www.lifewithcancer.org) in her honor.
