Emma Moore Moyer, age 91, a resident of Springfield, Virginia passed away on January 25, 2012. She worked as a Dental Assistant for many years. She honorably served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Pharmacist Mate from 1943 to 1945. Emma valued her children and her marriage and she leaves behind these important values. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Eugene (Gene) H. Moyer. Mrs. Moyer is survived by Lynda Kalb (husband Ron), Cynthia MacLeod and Mary Stickney (husband Tom); grandchildren, Lisa and Darren Kalb, Megan MacLeod and Michael Stickney. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 10:30am to 11:30am with Service to begin at 11:30am at the Demaine Funeral Chapel. Burial and Honors will be Friday, March 16, 2012 at 1:00pm at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
