Ernestine Hope Pearson

Ernestine was born on September 6, 1933 in Warrenton, VA to David Samuel and Virginia Lee Smith Beach.

Ernestine married David Ross Pearson on June 28, 1953 in Warrenton, VA.

As newlyweds Ernestine and David traveled around the world giving birth to her three sons in Cyprus, London, and Japan along the way before settling down in Alexandria, Virginia in 1970. An avid crafter she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and quilting, with many of her creations being cherised gifts to those lucky enough to recieve one. Compassion, selflessness, and gratitude were Ernestines greatest attributes, always ready to help others and grateful for all the blessings she had. She never met a stranger, if she talked to you for five minutes she would know all about you.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held numerous church callings over the years.

Ernestine is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, David Pearson; three sons David Michael Pearson, Vernon (Anne) Pearson, Gregory (Cindy) Pearson; one daughter Jennifer Hinds; seven grandchildren Sarah (Brian) Quinn, Mary Pearson, Hannah (Justin) Ritchie, Casey Pearson, McKenna Hinds, Bryce Pearson, and Mercedes Hinds; six great grandchildren Hyrum, Maxwell, Emmaline, Russell, and Jacob Quinn, and Joelle Ritchie; numerous nieces and nephews.

Ernestine is proceeded in death by her parents, David and Virginia Beach; all four siblings Woodrow (Virgie) Beach, Lillian (Henry) Gossom, David Samuel (Kay) Beach Jr., and Virginia (Sam) Robinson.

There will be a viewing on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA.

Graveside Services will be on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Warrenton Cemetery in Warrenton, VA.
