Mr. Knight is survived by long-time partner B.J. Wroblewski; son Brandon Knight of Washington, DC; daughter Dr. Jaime Knight of Alexandria; former wife Wendy Knight of Antigua; mother Patricia Knight Hibbert of Alexandria; father James L. Knight, Sr. of Sanford, FL; sister Lynn Knight of New York, NY; and two nephews Jason and Jared Knight.
Mr. Knight graduated from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. He worked as a stockbroker on Wall Street, and then moved to Antigua in the Caribbean for a year. After returning to the U.S., he owned a company called Blue Reports and held sales positions with several major corporations, including McGraw Hill, Xerox and Trans-Lux. In 2007 he started his own company, Alexandria Display.
