Colonel Lieteau passed on November 7, 2015 at his home in Springfield, VA. He is survived by his beloved wife Leila; loving children Reda Ouchna and Karim Lieteau; dear grandchildren Mia Ouchna, Alexandra Ouchna, Christien Lieteau, and Marcel Lieteau; and siblings Alfred Lieteau, Michael Lieteau, Nicole Woods, Yvette Flowers, and Renee Stewart.
Colonel Lieteau was born June 22, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Nellie (nee Williams) Lieteau. He graduated from St. Ignatius High School, and Loyola University, both also in Chicago. He married Leila on January 15, 1982 in Platt City, Missouri. He would join the Army, have a decorated career, and retire as a Colonel on June 30, 1993. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Colonel Lieteau will be buried with Full Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery at a date yet to be determined.
