Jay P. Gibson passed away peacefully at his home on March 1, 2015. Born on June 17, 1940 in Washington, D.C to Kathryn and James Gibson, Jay was raised in Arlington, Virginia with his sister G.G. and brothers Bill and Gary. For many years he was a successful architect, and later in life turned his efforts to his true passion of photography. As an active member of the Burke United Methodist Church, he photographed new members, baptisms, church activities, and mission trips. He was an avid skier and loved Shenandoah and the mountains of Colorado and California. He enjoyed traveling; visiting such places as Moscow, Venice, and Cairo.
Jay is survived by his wife, Clarice Rambo Gibson, daughter Kara Rossetto (husband John) of Tahoe Vista, California, Eric Gibson (wife Lana and her son Chris) of Stuart, Florida, son Kevin Gibson of Rollinsville, Colorado, daughter Bonnie Gibson (husband Patrick) of Fort Collins, Colorado, and stepson John Rambo (wife Connie and sons John and Stephen) of Aldie, Virginia.
