Kathy had a gift of making a connection to everyone she met.
She spread the warmth and kindness of her heart to many others.

My Deepest Sympathy for the Family and Friends of Kathy Currie Thomson.  I worked closely with Kathy in the mid 1980s when she was a Computer Sales Consultant in Springfield.  I never forgot her name, face or kindness.  She was a beautiful, caring person.  She loved people more deeply than anyone I have ever met.

To Chase and Family,

Kathy was a dear neighbor.  I have fond memories of her walking her chocolate Lab.  The last time we spoke, she was walking from the mailbox with her dog.  Her smile will be missed.  Love   Leona

Over the years, I lost touch with Kathy, but memories of her bubbly, positive personality, and warm sense of humor will never be forgotten.  Kathy provided all of us at Edison HS with so much fun and laughter.  Warm regards to Mrs. Currie, Bob, and Jim, as well as to Kathy's son, Chase.

We all enjoyed working with Kathy at HP and EDS.  She was a dedicated professional that put her customer's first.  She cared about the people, our families, and only wanted to help everyone be successful.  She will be greatly missed by us all.

We met Kathy and Chase 2 years ago when we moved in next door.  Kathy was so welcoming and the first thing we think about when we hear her name is her laugh.  We loved hearing about what was going on with her life.  She was always so animated that when she told you a story you just had to laugh.  We will miss her deeply and our hearts and prayers go out to Chase and the family during this time.

Kathy always had a smile on her face and made wherever she was a lot more fun. I am so sorry for your loss. She was truly a special soul.

My husband and I are grieved and deeply saddened to hear this unexpected and unwelcome news. Kathy shone a bright light on everyone she touched and drew us, who were fortunate to know her, into the warmth and radiance that was Kathy. From the first moments that we knew her she exuded generosity, liveliness, caring, and, of course, her indomitable spirit. We will miss you greatly, Kathy, but we will never forget you. Our world is a little dimmer without the light that Kathy brought.  She was energetic, open and friendly.  I am very sorry for her loss, my condolences to her loved ones.

I can't think of a greater compliment to pay someone than to acknowledge that they were a dedicated and loving parent.  Anyone who came in contact with Kathy could see this was obvious when it came to her only son Chase.  She was also extremely kind, generous and patient toward Chase's friends.  They are sad not only because their buddy Chase is sad but because they will genuinely miss their times with ‘Miss Kathy'.

Kathy was an awesome woman!!  She will be sorely missed.  My condolences to her family.

I had the very special pleasure to meet Kathy on a fun filled weekend in Duck.  I feel blessed to have met her.  Such a fun and relatable person. I met Kathy while working at HP.  As soon as I met her, I knew she was a warm, kind and caring individual.  Her laughter was infectious and her personality was beautiful. There are some folks in this world that when you see them, a smile and a laugh immediately comes out of you. You enjoy being around them.  They can brighten your day in a split second.  Kathy was one of those people for sure.  Such a bright light, genuine soul and wonderful sense of humour.  I especially will miss the conversations she and I had about her son Chase.  She was a very proud of him and seeing her face light up telling stories about Chase is something I will miss very much. God calls us all home, some sooner than others.  We will miss her very much, speak of her often and always have a smile on our face when we remember her.

Chase I worked with your Mom at HP.  She talked about you and loved being your Mom.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  Your Mom had an amazing warm, outgoing personality that we will all miss!  She was fun and made us laugh!  We are thinking of you and your family.

I met Kathy in High School on the Drill Team. She had such a sparkling personality. She was loved by many. Sending prayers and love to her family.

When I think of Kathy, I think of a huge personality, a great big smile and a giant laugh. I couldn't help but chuckle whenever she burst out laughing and I won't ever forget that. She was great to be around and I will miss her.

I worked with Kathy at EDS back in the late 80s and early 90's. I was moved by her warm personality.  I felt like I knew her for years. I have not kept in touch with her and when I heard the news was deeply saddened. My prayers are with the family thru this difficult time.

Such a huge personality and an even larger smile.  I don't believe I ever saw Kathy without a smile.  Always so optimistic and full of life.  Few people can touch your life the way Kathy could.  I am sad to say it has been years since we have even talked, but it seems like yesterday.  She is one of those people you never, ever forget.  My prayers are with her family...she will be missed.
