Melvin Kenneth Hottman

Melvin Hottman, 83, of Annandale, VA, passed away, Friday December 22, 2017 at The Alder Center for Caring. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 13 at Annandale United Methodist Church, 6935 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA 22003. Memorials may be made to Annandale United Methodist Church Children, Youth and Adult ministries. Melvin was born November 25, 1934 in Dickinson County, Kansas to Herbert and Edith (Wells) Hottman. Melvin joined the US Air Force in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1959. Melvin arrived in the Washington DC after discharge. Melvin worked for the Defense Logistics agency for 30 years and worked as both a real estate agent and broker. Melvin was an active member in Annandale United Methodist Church, and the Lions Club Melvin was the 8th child of 10 children, survived by his three sons Michael Hottman and his wife Rebecca, Mark Hottman, Mitchell Hottman and his wife Susan, two grandchildren Michael Wesley and Haley Hottman, two brothers and two sisters.
