Pamela Sue Valentino

Pam was happily married for 48 years to Paul Henry Valentino who passed away in 2015. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl-Lynn Malloy, son-in-law Michael Malloy, grandson Matthew Snediker and his wife Carolyn, brother-in-law Marion Valentino, sisters-in-law Marta Toney, Dianne Myers, her uncle Clair Myers and cousin Dorothy Crouch.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Pam's family later moved to South Carolina where she met her future husband in a geography class at the University of South Carolina. She then traveled with Paul for several tours of duty in the United States Air Force before landing in Virginia to begin a career as a healthcare business manager while finishing her degree at Averett University.

Pam enjoyed spending time visiting with her friends from work and church and shared an enthusiasm for road trips with her husband but was happiest when visiting her immediate and extended family with Paul. She is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loving friend by those lucky to have known her.

A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
