Our hero and father, affectionately known as Popeye, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family.

As a resident in Bren Mar for over 51 years, he was very dedicated to the community he loved. He was the neighborhood fix it guy and believed in preservation of Indian Run Pkwy Creek.

In addition to serving in the Navy and working for the Night Vision Department for the Army, he was a prankster, a joke teller, a quiet observer, a skilled artist and carpenter, a Redskin Fan, but most of all-a loving father, grandfather and soon to be great grandfather.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation Wednesday October 4th 6-8pm at Demaine Funeral Home, Backlick Rd, Springfield VA

His military burial will take place Thursday Oct 5th, 1pm at Culpeper National Cemetery in Culpeper VA
