Passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010 in Springfield, VA. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn C. Baker; his children, Laurie Baker, Robert J. Baker Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, Julie Brannan and her husband Richard; and grandchildren, Mackenzie, William and Hayes Baker and Andrew and Emily Brannan. A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at DEMAINE FUNERAL HOME, 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010, 1 p.m. at St. John''s United Methodist Church, 5312 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA with burial to follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John''s United Methodist Church in his name.
