

Died in Springfield, VA on February 9, 2015. Born on Augusat 2, 1925 in Washington, DC to Elizabeth and James Nash. Victor fought in Europe during World War II, receiving 2 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He graduated Cum Laude from American University where he met his bride, Jane. They settled in Northern Virginia and raised four children. He worked for the Department of Interior as an Internal Certified Auditor. Upon retirement, he worked as a free-lance writer and was published in such magazines as Good Housekeeping, Reader’s Digest, and Americana.
He is survived by three of his children, Barbara Huber, Victor Nash, Jr., and Holly Wallis and her husband Tom; grandchildren Amy, Lindsey, Tommy, and McKenzie; and great-grandchildren Evelyn, Bryce, Brayden, Sophia, Maverick, and Liam. Victor was predeceased by his wife Jane, his brother Roy, and his daughter Cyndi.
Friends welcome at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd, Springfield, on Saturday, February 14 from 11 am – 1 pm. A service to celebrate Victor’s life will be held on Sunday, February 15 at 2 pm.
