

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Jeffrey, who passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, at the age of 82. Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Barbara was born on July 12, 1942, to Charles Albert Spatz and Emma Katherine McGough, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her cherished husband, Michael Jeffrey, and her beloved son, Andrew William Cole.
Barbara is survived by her loving children, Jeanette Cole, Rich Cole (Chrissy), and Stephen Cole (Peggy), as well as her devoted stepdaughter, Lisa Elrod (Eric). She is also survived by her brother, Alexander Spatz, and her many treasured grandchildren who brought endless joy to her life.
Barbara lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. She and her husband Michael shared a passion for bowling, traveling together to tournaments and spending countless hours on the lanes. When she wasn’t bowling, Barbara could be found dancing, enjoying live music, or creating special memories with her family. Her warmth and enthusiasm were contagious, and her zest for life was truly inspiring.
Barbara also worked for many years at Venture and Kmart, where her kindness and dedication made a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike.
Barbara’s legacy of love, resilience, and joy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Barbara, you will be deeply missed, but the memories and love you gave so freely will remain with us forever.
A Visitation for Barbara will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074. The Funeral will occur Monday, January 27, 2025 at the same location. The Committal will follow on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
