Cecilia Ann Peterson, age 85, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Cecilia was born May 19, 1936 to Leo and Alva (Neisz) Hassel whom have preceded her in death along with her husband Donald Lee Peterson, Sr, her daughter Lynn Marie (Peterson) Carter, her son Carl Joseph Peterson, her beloved grandson Timothy William Kipper and her four sisters and one brother.
Cecilia is survived by her loving children, Donald Peterson, Pam (Eric) Hollrah, and Ron Peterson along with a sister, Camellia Bealler. She also leaves behind her seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, other family members and friends.
Cecilia was known to have a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and the beauty of flowers. She also could spend a whole day shopping, in particular at the Old Northwest Plaza. Cecilia found joy in life and had a contagious laugh with a fun-loving attitude. She also was a woman of faith.
A visitation for Cecilia will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, Missouri. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the funeral home, with burial immediately following the service at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St Charles Rock Rd, Saint Ann, Missouri.
