Constance Joy Stover of Florissant, Missouri at rest with God on July 4, 2021. Constance was born in London, Ohio on August 23, 1937 to the late Howard and Mamie (nee Pfiel) Smouse. Devoted Mother of Donna (Russell) Haley, the late Joyce (Rebert) Watt, Roger (Denise) Rebert, Pamela (Micheal) Gill, David Rebert, and step-daughter Kristi Palmer. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Ferne (Joe) Charters and Janet (Dutch) Berg, four brothers: Howard Smouse Jr, Harry Smouse, John (Norma) Smouse, and Richard (Vivian) Smouse; and two grandsons: Shaun Haley and Nathan Kirkendall. She was a Proud Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.
She was active in her children’s lives serving as a Brownie/Girl Scout leader, a Boy Scout den mother, a team mother, and a council member of Job’s Daughters among others. She was also active in the community as a member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary Lodge #2316 and the VFW. Connie enjoyed traveling with friends and family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at 11:45 am on Friday, July 16, 2021, at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, Mo. 63074. Visitation is at the funeral home from 5-8 pm, Thursday, July 15.
