David Michael Burriss, 60, of Florissant, MO passed away suddenly on Friday, September 26, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Patricia (nee Gumersell) Burriss. David is survived by his brother and best friend, Donald; sister, Janet (Mark) Tonding; a niece, Jennifer Pena; great nieces, Savanna and Selena Pena; and numerous friends.
David lived his life to its fullest. He and his brother, Don, shared many adventures together including: An annual trip to Vegas during the first week of the football season for over 30 years, Bloomington Gold--the annual Corvette show in Bloomington, IL, and Labor Day weekends hiking at Ice Box Canyon. David enjoyed model trains and tooling around town in his red Corvette. Memories will be forever cherished and he will be missed. He is now reunited with his parents, grandparents, and his beloved husky, Suzy.
Friends may visit on Monday, September 28 from 4-8 p.m. at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home with a service at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 29 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the Missouri Humane Society or the ASPCA.
