Ellen "Jean" NIELSON, age 90, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021. Ellen was born September 10, 1930, to Eugene Albert and Elsie Myrtle Boden (nee: Wylie). They have preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years Joe Nielson. She is survived by; her daughters: Nancy Sommer (Steve), Peggy Knittel (Bob), Emily Spicer (Russ); grandchildren: Stephen Sommer (Brad Chester), Jeff Knittel (Megan), Mike Heuer, Maryanne Martin, Matt Heuer; Great-Grandchildren: Gabriel, Sammy, Jude, Luke Knittel; Sister: Florence Frost (Jim), nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Jean was a member of Dardenne Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed drawing and working crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader - especially Westerns, and enjoyed watching western movies.
