Gerald "Jerry" R. Sonderman

Gerald "Jerry" R. Sonderman, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away April 9, 2025. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, February 5, 1944, to Joseph and Genevieve (nee: Anderson) Sonderman. They have preceded him in death, as has his son Michael Sonderman. Jerry is survived by: his loving wife Helen (nee: Collier) Sonderman; his children: Joseph "Joe" Sonderman (Lorraine), Sherry Mueller (Tim), Corey Couch (Jenni), Kathryn "Katie" Cabral (Terry), Kristy Spinaio (Brian Kinsey), Karey Couch; his grandchildren: Catherine "Cathy" Garland (Matthew), Kimberly Sonderman, Tracy Teson, Sarah Gannon (Ryan), Samantha Teson (Justin Stoker), Kyle Sonderman, Kyleigh Sonderman, Ethan Boatright, Colby Boatright, Addison Coleman, Piper Spinaio, Kamey Couch, Adelyn Couch; his great-grandchildren: Ryan "RJ" Gannon, Jr., Macy Teson; his brothers: Kenneth "Ken" Sonderman (the late Diana), Karl Sonderman (Dolores); nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Jerry proudly served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of the VFW. He loved cars and enjoyed showing his Prowler at car shows with his wife and brothers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, bowling, and many other outdoor activities with family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed life - he was a jokester, and loved good food and snacks (there always needed to be dessert).
