

COY, James L., 91, on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Dear son of the late Lex Coy and Pearl A. Janssen; beloved husband of the late Wilma (nee Stevenson) and Betty (nee Carter) Coy. He is survived by his special and dearest friend, Loretta Richards. Loving father of Wanda Sue (Dan) Hittle and Stephen (Julie) Coy, and the late Mary Elizabeth (Billy) Cowgill and Connie Christine Glenz; grandfather and great grandfather to many, dear friend to all. If you met him, you were a friend.
James will be forever remembered as a kind and soft spoken person who deeply loved the Lord. He loved attending Sunday School at Ferguson Church of the Nazarene where he ushered. He was a mentor to many and strong in his faith. He served his country in the Air Force and worked for many years as a plastics fabricator. He was a Steward for the Machinists Union. An avid Cardinals fan, he also enjoyed being outside in the fresh air and was an avid bowler, being able to throw a couple of perfect games.
SERVICES: Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO. Interment with Military Honors took place in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Ferguson Church of the Nazarene 1309 N. Elizabeth Ave., Ferguson, MO 63135.
