James Lee Titus (USAF Ret.)

TITUS, James Lee (USAF Ret.), 59, on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Beloved husband of Amanda A. (nee Wigmore); beloved father of James B. (Ashley), Scott (Lily), and the late Luke Titus; beloved son of Alma J. and the late James L. Titus; dear brother of Lynn (Dennis) Bennett, Sharon (Rick) Juergens, and Donna (David) Hardesty; grandfather of 4; dear cousin uncle, and friend to many.

A proud retiree of the USAF Tech Sergeant, Jim was always sure to talk about his service to his country. He met his wife, Amanda, in 1980 while stationed in England. They married in 1981. Upon his retirement in 1995 from the Air Force after twenty years of service, he worked for Forest Pharmaceuticals in Shipping & Receiving before finally retiring to enjoy time with his family. He loved keeping in touch with his Pattonville High School friends but that wasn't enough-he added over 800 more friends on Facebook! Jim was full of life, and that life was filled with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved his quiet time too and enjoyed hiking nature trails and swimming. He was a fan of "The Big Bang Theory" and every morning included "The Andy Griffith Show".

SERVICES: Visitation 9am until time of service at 11:30am on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at ALEXANDER-WHITE-MULLEN Funeral Home 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO 63074. Interment with Military Honors to follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
