Jeanette L. Wernig

Jeanette is survived by her son, Rich Wernig and his wife Michelle, Daughter in law Mary McCoskey, grandchildren Melissa Starks (Dustin Starks), Sarah Fagan (husband Cody Fagan), Ryan Wernig, and great grandchildren Landyn, Noah, Devin, Paxton, Declan, Riley, Millica, and Leo. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Wernig, mother Manilla Prouhet, father Francis Prouhet, and brother Harold Prouhet.

Jeanette was born on September 28th 1942 to parents Manilla and Francis. She graduated from Pattonville Senior High and married the love of her life in July 1960.

She spent 40 years doing the job she loved, running an in home daycare and being a housewife. For a period of time she was a band manager for her son's band Blue Ridge. She attended church every Sunday and Wednesday regularly, volunteering for the welcome center and as an awanas listener. She loved spending time with her family. Her great grandchildren were the light of her life. Her favorite time spent with family was for the holidays, sitting down to eat a large meal and playing board games. She enjoyed puzzles and vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup.

A public visitation for Jeanette will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
