John M. Oelzen is resting in the arms of his Savior on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of the late Susan Oelzen (Nee; Mohapp); loving father of Scott (Karin), Clay (Kim) and Todd Oelzen; cherished grandfather of Ashtyn (Corey) Fulhorst, Nathaniel, Daniel and Gunnar Oelzen; great-grandfather of Ella. John is preceded in death by his parents, William and Alecia Oelzen, his step-mother, Edna Oelzen and his sister, Carol Gray. Our dearest brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
A memorial service will be held at Immanuel UCC, 221 Church St, Ferguson, MO 63135 on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11 A.M. Visitation at 9 A.M. until the time of service. Inurnment is private.
