Richard “Chip” D. Chipman, 83, of Maryland Heights, MO passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nadine (nee Olson) Chipman; children, William (Mary) and Richard C. Chipman; sister, Marilyn (the late Wilbur) Eske; and nephews, John Eske and Bob Eske.
Chip was a devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church where he served as a deacon and sang in the choir. He loved his family deeply and always sought to help other people whenever he could. He was a proud US Navy veteran who served in the Korean Conflict as a hospital corpsman. His gregarious personality will be missed by all who knew him.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 12075 Dorsett Rd., Maryland Heights, MO 63043 with visitation from noon until 1 p.m. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
