

Bob was born on October 31, 1938 to John and Louise Wilson in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from Francis Howell High School in 1956, he joined the United States Marine Corps where he served with honor and pride until 1962. Bob was also a Master Mason with the Florissant Lodge.
Bob met the girl next door, Patricia Smith in 1958 while home on leave. They married in 1960 and had three children, Scott (MaryAnn) Wilson, Susan Morse and Steven (Susan) Wilson. Bob was a Store Manager for National Food Stores from 1962 to 1974. In 1974 he accepted a position with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company where he enjoyed a successful career until he retired in 1999. Bob and Pat celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on December 17, 2020.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Patricia Clements, son-in-law, Tim Morse and brothers, Wayne and Richard Wilson. He is survived by his wife and children, 5 siblings, Jo Ann Marshall, Betty Wilson, Tom Wilson, Carol Varney and Don (Sharon) Wilson, brother-in-law Gary Clements and sister-in-laws, Barbara and Nati Wilson, Nancy Abraham and Darlene Donaldson; 9 grandchildren; Christopher, Kyle (Jessi) and Adam Wilson, Tyler (Katie) and Lindsay Morse, Ashley, Andrew (Brooke), Benjamin and Nikolas Wilson; 4 great-grandchildren, Shelbi, Mackenzi and Lucy Morse and Lincoln Wilson and many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home on June 23, 2021 from 10 am – 12 pm with service immediately following. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
