Ruth Martin, age 97, of Bridgeton, Missouri passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. She was born March 25, 1927, to Sheridan and Geda (nee: Sloan) Faulkner. They have preceded her in death, as has her beloved husband Russell Martin, and her sister Margie Moore. Ruth is survived by: her children: Debra (David) Kendall, Sheree (Jim) Pecoraro, Laura Martin, Russel (Sue) Martin; her grandchildren: Andrew (Megan) Kendall, Chelsea (Bryan) Shelton, Douglas (Emilie) Colombatto, Catherine (Brad) Kenny, Phillip Colombatto, Peter (Nicole) Colombatto, Jack Pecoraro, Monica Martin; six great-grandchildren; her aunt Virgie Hicks; and other relatives and friends.
Ruth owned and operated "The Idle Hour", a diner on Delmar. She then enjoyed a second career and was retired from Monsanto, working there as a printer. She also was a devoted caregiver to her parents.
