Thomas James "Tom" Fitzsimmons, age 93, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Thomas was born November 17, 1928, to Ray and Lucille (nee: Scott) Fitzsimmons. They have preceded him in death, as have his sister Fay Prince, and his son Scott James Fitzsimmons. Tom is survived by: his children: Susie Fitzsimmons Veron, Russell Fitzsimmons; his grandchildren: Elizabeth Veron Schuster (Tyler), Alex Veron, Catherine Veron; his great-granddaughter Harper Lee Lovrenic Schuster; and nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Tom proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a proud Washington University Alumni. He was an avid golfer - winning club championships several times, and was also a master bridge player. He enjoyed his work as owner of Fitzsimmons Industries. He enjoyed opera, golf, and football to the very end of his life.
