The beloved husband to Carolyn Runge (nee Doll); dear father of Laurie (Tim) Lowery, Steve (Daphne) Runge, Mike (Sharon) Runge and Rich (Brandy) Runge. Cherished grandfather of Bryan Lowery, Steve (Brie), Michele, Tom, Jon, Jack, Wynter, Wyland, Seven, Isis, Luca, Jessica, Kimberly, Sarah, and Mikey Runge, Amber Swope, and Faith and Nathan Conrey. Great grandfather of Isaac Ruiz.
Warren is the loving son of Emma Runge (nee Castleman) and the late Frank Runge; dear brother of Ken (Norma), Kay and Frank; Brother-in-law to Bill (Pat), Darlene and Shirley; uncle and friend to many.
Mr. Runge was retired Bridgeton City Administrator and was a police officer for 34 years serving in the St. Louis City, Florissant and Bridgeton police forces. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1962.
Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, June 4, 2012 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Troy, MO. Interment to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
