Dear Chuck & Kathy, Please accept our deepest sympathy. Although we never met your Mom she apparently was loved by all. We know we can't be here forever but when we lose a loved one it's still hard. May all your memories of her help & know that she will always be looking down at you all & be proud of the beautiful family she had.

From the day we moved in across the street  from Alice  she never failed to wave and say hi.  When I was sick ten years ago she would check in to make sure I was on the mend.  She never had  a hair out of place  and always  looked beautiful and that was when she was working in the yard.  I always stood straighter and  talked softer around Alice because she was  always so much a lady.  I will miss not seeing her  every spring.  I  know our flowers will grow bigger  and more colorful every day this summer with  Alice watching over them.  This summer I will plant coral colored inpatients  in her honor.

Her warm smile was a beacon in the neighborhood
Handpainted birdhouses adorned her beautiful black tree
Flowers loved her touch and thrived for all to enjoy
Birds fluttered around looking for her morning toss of pieces of bread

All were welcome to visit
Whether in the garage decorated with her paintings
Or the kitchen which welcomed one after another, of family members
We knew her as Alice, our neighbor and our friend
