Angelo’s family, past and present was his great love and main source of pride. He is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins that he loved with all his heart, and most had a special spot in their heart for Big Ang too. At family gatherings Ang would be holding court with his cousins or uncles telling jokes and sharing stories and just being the life of the party. Making sure everyone was having fun.
Ang found great joy sharing with others. Often times, after a long day at work, you would find him tending his vast crop of fruits and vegetables by the light of the moon. His joy would come at harvest time, when he would share the fruits of his labor with friends, neighbors and anyone who came along.
Angelo was also a animal lover. In addition to the usual cat or dog, he cared for many different pets to round out his zoo; such as raccoons, squirrels, tarantulas, snakes, birds, rabbits, snapping turtles and always had some sort of fish tank or two.
Angelo spent his working career around the water. He took great pride in his twenty one year tenure as Harbormaster at Bayview Yacht Club. He considered many of the members and co-workers his second family. His only regret was when illness forced him away from the responsibility and place he loved to work
