MANLEY AVIS JEAN Of St. Clair Shores, died October 9, 2012. Born in Marion, Ohio on January 8, 1919, to Walter Quick and Mary Patton. Married to William D. Manley of Richwood, Ohio, Jean resided in numerous states while Bill was employed with General Motors. While raising three daughters she worked in banks and sold real estate. In 1975 they retired to Leesburg, Florida and in 1985 moved to Venice, Florida. Jean was an active church member, a seamstress, ballroom dancer, golfer, and aerobics participant. She was a member of the Eastern Star, and a hospital volunteer. For the last 5 years, she lived in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, with daughter Jennifer and at Beechwood Manor. She is survived by her brother Robert Quick (Rhoda); daughters Marcia (Richard) Fisher Delgado, Jacquelyn Manley, and Jennifer Ball. Also a loving grandmother to five and great-grandmother to five. A private family graveside service will be held On Friday, October 26th 12 noon at the at the Marion Cemetery in Marion, Ohio.
