To my Dear Sister Barbara,
Almost a year has gone by since your passing. Every day is painful, especially holidays, your birthday and all the summer days when you should be at the cottage. You were the baby of the Paski Family and were so loved and cared for by your Mom and Dad and your siblings Joe, Carol and Steven. You grew up to be a beautiful wife, mother to Heather and grandmother to Paulo and Oliver. You also loved your Yorkie Leo. You earned three college degrees and were the best teacher any class of students could ever have. With your very long illness Barbara, you were valiant and strong even at the end. We wanted to keep you for many years to come. However, you must now remain in our hearts that beat with the memory of our beloved Barb.

"Barb" She put up a great fight & never said never, some people couldn't believe how upbeat she was & always tried to enjoy life to fullest. When I think of Barb, I think of fun and laughter that started in high school and continued since then. I feel fortunate to have had her friendship. Loved her sense of humor and admired her intelligence and her courage. She was so proud of you Heather and it was so clear that she felt such joy with you and your family.

Barb was one of my oldest and dearest friends in the world. Oh, the stories I could tell of our fun junior high, high school and college days. She was beautiful, inside and out and had a personality that sizzled and popped. She fought the valiant fight in her ever feisty way for 14 years. Memories of times with her flood my mind and leave smiles in their wake.  My heart is sad for everyone she leaves behind and hope they find comfort that she left her sassy & classy mark on all her family, friends and students. Fly with the angels sweet Barb!

Saying goodbye to a long time friend of 30 years, is surely one of lifes most difficult tasks.  There are no words powerful enough, no music soothing enough, to ease the sorrow at a time like this. But, I find consolation in knowing how much you were loved by Heather, your grandchildren, family and friends. I will cherish the fun and laughter that we shared through the years, in good times and in bad.  Our busy lives these last few years had taken our lives in different directions. Even though we did not see each other, we always made time to speak on the phone and catch up on our daily lives. You gave so much of yourself to others and just wanted what was best for everyone. What a blessing it was to have shared the friendship with you. Goodbye my dear friend, until we meet again in a place where no one grows old.

Barb was my long time friend since we met at North Farrmington High. We had the best parties in Farmington every Friday night and every one came. .  She was one of the strongest emotional and physical women I have know nto survive all those years of treatments and still maintain such a positive attitude. She has always been in my heart for the last 40 years and will continue so. May she rest in peace.   Mark Peterson

Barb was one of my best friends since 2nd grade.  We shared so much through the years including being proud grand parents and comparing notes.  I will miss her and will always cherish the memories.

I taught with Barb several years ago.  When I started working at the "old" high school, Barb welcomed me to the district with friendship and laughter.  Condolences to her daughter; she spoke of you with love and pride.
