Barbara Jean Foley, age 92, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on July 12, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born in Dearborn on August 20, 1930 to parents, the late Robert and Margaret McPhee. Beloved wife of Louis V. Foley, who predeceased her in death in 1988 after 35 years of marriage. Loving mother of Corinne (Anthony) Foley-Bojanic, Grosse Pointe Park, Karen (Jeffry) Frahm, Frankenmuth, and Matthew (Elizabeth) Foley, St. Clair Shores. Cherished grandmother of Ian Bojanic (and special friend Amy Kanak), Eliisa Bojanic (husband Peter Croce), Amy (Joseph) Popek and Patrick Frahm (fiancé Tanya Salimnia). Awesome great-grandmother of Arthur Popek. Barbara is survived by her brother Donald McPhee and many nieces & nephews.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed walking and also liked helping others, even in the smallest of ways.
Celebration of Barbara’s life will take place on July 25, 2023 at St. Matthew Catholic Church 6021 Whittier Ave. Detroit MI with visitation at 10:00 am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am.
