Charles Leo Broedell born December 28, 1937 in East China Twp, Michigan, passed away on January 18, 2026. Charles was a devoted husband of Margaret (Dionne) and beloved father of Dawn Kermizian and Mary M. Broedell. He was an inspirational role model to his grandson, Zachary Kermizian. He will be dearly missed by his brother-in-law Tom and wife Mary, along with many nieces and nephews.
Charles ran a very successful company for 30 years in St. Clair Shores, was an active member of Kiwanis Club for many years, and he and his wife traveled frequently after retirement. As a young man, he attended St. John’s Military Academy in Wisconsin and U of M. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
