We were deeply saddened to hear of Joe's death.  Joe was a great friend to me for the last couple of years I lived in MI.  I'm sorry that we had lost touch over the past few years.  God Bless you and your family.

Joe, my Canadian buddy, it time to say bye for now.  I remember first time I meant you was at Jeff and Ann's, you didn't say much to me until you found out I was Canadian, then that seemed to break the ice.  I especially enjoyed you and Lil's time at our place up north with Jeff, Ann and boys, where you walked my dog Shadow, went 4 wheeling and of course fishing.  You wil always be remembered expecially when I am making tarts.  God bless!

Although I did know Uncle Joe and Uncle Clarence were one and the same, he was always Uncle Clarence to me. I really believe that he and my father (Syl) are looking down on all of us, with fishing poles in their hands and grins on their faces.  He will be missed and a great memory for all of us.

For many years I always thought I had an extra uncle because they always talked about uncle Joe and uncle Clarence.  It was a long time before someone finally told me they were one and the same because I kept trying to figure out where the other one was.  We had a good laugh about that.
