Dale F. Phillips

Dale F. Phillips, age 65, a resident of St. Clair Shores passed away on January 31st 2016. He was born on June 29, 1950 in Cass City. He was a loving husband to wife Paula, Dad to son Joel (Kim Gibbs), and to daughter Stacey. He was a beloved Papa to grandchildren Drew Phillips and Kaden Gibbs. He is also survived by his brothers Les (Carol) and Scott (Pam). Dale loved to spend time with his family, which not only included his brothers and their families, but also Paula’s siblings, and many nieces and nephews, and their children. He was an avid golfer, and has been a lifetime Tiger’s fan. During the summer, you could find Dale and Paula on their pontoon boat on Lake James until 4 O’clock when the Margarita party would begin on their deck. Dale proudly served in the U.S. Army for 3 years as a Sergeant, and received multiple Medals of Recognition. During his professional career, Dale worked as a Mechanical Engineer for over 40 years. The majority of his career was spent at Temperature Engineering/JCI, until his retirement in May of 2015. Funeral Services for Dale will be held 10 AM Monday at the Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 3-9 PM, and Sunday from 2-6 PM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery immediately after the funeral on Monday.
