Florence Faye “Pinkie” “Fayeth” Cusack Hoffmann October 14, 1942-January 16, 2023 Florence Faye “Pinkie” “Fayeth” Hoffmann (nee Cusack) of St. Clair Shores peacefully went to the Lord on or about January 16, 2023. She was 80 and lived her life with a deep and profound faith in the Lord her Savior. She was a gentle, kind, sensitive soul and lived her life full of compassion and grace. She was a wonderful stay at home mother and devoted grandmother. In her mid life she pursued her dream of attending and graduating from college. She majored in Psychology, with a minor in Dance at Oakland University. She also realized her dream of dance and performed in Russia and Romania with the Oakland University Ukrainian Dance Troupe. She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Oakland University. She worked for over 20 years as a social counselor giving comfort to many for the Macomb County Community of Mental Health Department. Following her retirement, she was a care giver to her mother and participant of multiple bible study and prayer groups, with friends she knew from pre kindergarten and new friends alike. She was known as a “prayer warrior”. She also attended a monthly luncheon with her Lakeview High School friends. She was predeceased by her mother Wanda Fay “Lee” Cusack (nee Given), father William Cusack and most recently her brother Dennis Cusack, just last month. She is survived by her son Stephen Hoffmann, daughter Kimberly Hoffmann-Bloink (Robert) and her precious granddaughter Abigail Bloink. She had many close cousins and nieces whom she kept in close touch. Visitation will be held at Kaul Funeral Home in St. Clair Shores, Michigan on Friday February 10 from 3-8 pm. A funeral memorial mass will be held at St. Lucy Parish, St. Clair Shores at 10 am Saturday February 11th. Friends may call at the church after 9:30 am Saturday.
