Gary is the beloved husband of 50 years to Betty Krynski; Loving father of Scott (Brittany) Krynski and Breanna McKinnon; Treasured grandfather of Evan McKinnon, Elizabeth Grace Krynski, Morgan McKinnon, Allyson Krynski, and Benjamin Krynski; Dear brother of Barbara Bonino and Karen Wysocki; Close friend of Jim and Kristy Yntema and Paul Dembinski.
Gary was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 27, 1950 to Clarence and Felice Krynski. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was his grandkids’ biggest fan, and loved attending their sporting events when he could. Gary was an avid hunter and loved to be up north looking after the Cabin (DNHC) in Luzerne, Michigan. He also was a proud Vietnam Veteran and was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association Chapter 1046 in Jacksonville, Florida, a chapter of the VVA that he really bonded and felt shared community with when Gary spent time living in Jacksonville with his daughter. Gary was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 3-8 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores, MI. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 11 AM, with an instate beginning at 10 AM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 22915 Greater Mack Avenue, St. Clair Shores, MI. Gary will be laid to rest at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gary’s memory to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
